A friend then bought me one in 2011 and it was marginally better, but still not one I'd reccommend.

I think the nature of the beer's taste and their presumably somewhat eclectic bottling process means they could only really bottle the stronger one. Besides, I'd rather drink in the Blue Anchor anyday!wee beefyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16922755344809968104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-87120916463415542.post-4460485194139467112012-09-12T10:00:22.519+01:002012-09-12T10:00:22.519+01:00We've not had any bottled Spingo. They have massively improved the quality of the beer in the pub in the last year or two, though, so maybe the bottles will get sorted soon, too?Baileyhttp://boakandbailey.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-87120916463415542.post-25060470703472147692012-09-11T15:10:59.303+01:002012-09-11T15:10:59.303+01:00Yeah, I also loved the "have a glass to hand&...Yeah, I also loved the "have a glass to hand" - with some ales, notably Burton Bridge Empire, you needed two large glasses, preferably 1 a litre in size, to contend with the foaming expulsion.

The other thing is, chilling might negate the affects of poor storage temperature or unseasonably warm weather.

I also liked the literal element of the advice. The instruction to "age upright in a cool dark place"? That's no way to live your life....wee beefyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16922755344809968104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-87120916463415542.post-11834231221647317802012-09-11T13:16:50.278+01:002012-09-11T13:16:50.278+01:00'Pour carefully'
