Don'y know the guys but their IPA's are usually a good bet - one of their ones at the fest in 2012 was fantastic.wee beefyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16922755344809968104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-87120916463415542.post-24301655390229601042013-10-27T12:50:26.606+00:002013-10-27T12:50:26.606+00:00I went to the Acorn meet the brewer thing, last We...I went to the Acorn meet the brewer thing, last Weds I think it was. They were a lovely lot, we tried some of their different beers and learned the history of the brewery. As someone who always goes for Gorlovka when it appears, I enjoyed the different versions (they did the normal, a keg version, and the barrel aged one). Oddly I liked the keg version best, the flavours were completely different (and still great). The BA version I agreed with the brewer that it needed more time in the barrel, there were only the slightest hints of the bourbon flavour, if they'd have cranked it up they'd have had something of legend.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14272581851124223590noreply@blogger.com
